Talis is a Certified Global NLP Trainer (NLP University, Santa Cruz, US, 2003), a Certified Hypnotherapist (by the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners, 2012), also Founder & Principal Consultant of Different Drums Co Ltd, and Director & Principal Consultant of International Presentation Coaching Centre.
Talis is a Distinguished Toastmaster (2002) and won numerous Toastmasters Speech Contests in Hong Kong and China. He's among the most influential speakers and trainers in the Toastmasters and professional trainers community. He also served as Toastmasters International's District 89 Director (2019-2020), District Trainer of District 51 and District 80, District Advisor of District 80, and Education Chair of District 89.
He specializes in training and individual coaching for incorporating business applications of NLP. Since becoming a corporate trainer in 2009, over 25,000 executives and students have benefited from Talis's training.
Talis is also enthusiastic about helping secondary and university students develop their presentation and public speaking skills. He has been a nine-time trainer for the annual inter-secondary school public speaking contest organized by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups and Standard Chartered Bank.
